Yaron has over 20 years of experience in commercial law, specifically in taxation issues. He has worked in the Israel Tax Authority and in some of the largest, leading Israeli firms, including Dr. Avraham Alter and Co., GKH Law Offices, and the Israeli branch of Deloitte. Yaron co-authored the book “The Art of Taxation – 111 Comparison Tables on Taxation in Israel”. Furthermore, he served as a lecturer at the College of Management Academic Studies for over a decade and as the academic director in accounting and taxation at the College of Management – Ginat Branch.
He specializes in providing legal assistance and counsel to companies and individuals in the field of commercial law. He works with various companies, including high-tech companies, and in various taxation fields, including, but not limited to, income tax, VAT, real estate tax, international taxation, encouragement laws, and employee compensation programs. Yaron provides ongoing assistance to companies, individuals, and private investors. Moreover, he specializes in tax planning, providing taxation legal opinions, and in representing taxpayers before tax authorities, as well before various courts of law and appeals committees. In addition to his tax expertise, Yaron has wide-ranging and extensive experience in the various sub-divisions of commercial law. This synergistic approach allows him to bridge the world between tax and commercial law.
He is periodically involved in tax legislation proceedings, including participating in the Tax Forum in the Israeli Bar Association. Yaron serves as the co-chair of the Income Tax and bookkeeping Tax Committee in the Israel Bar Association’s and also serves as the co-chair of the Tax Committee in the Israel Bar Association’s Central District. He regularly lectures at conferences, seminars, and various forums and publishes articles in newspapers and academic journals.
Yaron serves as the director at De Beers, the global diamond corporation, as a member of the board of the “Controlling Employees’ Union” and as a professional counselor to the union regarding taxation issues. He is a permanent member of a team of taxation experts in the Hashavim Company.
Additionally, Yaron is a member of the Israel Scholarship Education Foundation (ISEF), which provides educational opportunities to thousands of children throughout Israel with the goal of reducing the deep economic inequalities within Israeli society and providing equal opportunities throughout the country.
